Leah Baker Funeral Fundraiser

This Go Fund Me page is to assist with funeral costs for my cousin, Leah Baker, who was shot and killed by police in Jacksonville, Florida on April 11. She was 29 years old and leaves behind her 9-year old daughter. The family is still piecing together what they can from her roommates and eyewitnesses, but it appears that the story the police gave to news media is not at all consistent with eyewitnesses. It seems that Leah was shot seven times in cold blood while on the porch of the home where she was living. The tragedy is overwhelming her immediate family, so I am stepping in to at least raise enough money to cover the burial costs. Please help if you can. Every penny will go toward paying the funeral and if there is anything left, to establish an education fund for Leah's young daughter.
