My daughter is arriving tomorrow. It sure will be a relief to have someone that can keep me pointed in the right direction until and after surgery.
If all goes as scheduled, Fred gets evicted on October 24. About six weeks of recovery time is expected. I will need a few sessions of gamma knife radiation because they will not be able to remove it all without high risk of paralysis or stroke. I'm ok with with leaving some to avoid that.
Being able to work until then has gotten close to impossible because of the pain level and nausea.
I decided to name the tumor because saying right sinus cavernous meningioma was too much of a mouthful. Fred S Badass is easier, lol. (Maybe it's just the drugs talking)
The surgeon said I will be in ICU for a few days with up to a week in the hospital. He said he can't make me feel like I'm 30 again. I said 50 was acceptable. He is a real character. Not bad on the eyes either.
I will be at Baylor Centennial in Frisco.
I will be unable to teach lessons (my main income) while recovering.
