LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND: Help us to bring Fernando Orozco home

Tax deductible

Dear Friends, Allies, Family, and Supporters,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of US Army Honorably Discharged Veteran Fernando Orozco. Veteran Orozco passed away on July 1, 2024, in his home in Tijuana, Mexico. He was away from his family while waiting to re-submit a humanitarian parole request to seek medical treatment in the USA. Veteran Orozco had a service-connected disability and was waiting for his P/C exam for PTSD and other injuries sustained.

Veteran Orozco is the sixth veteran in 2024 to die in exile while awaiting approval of a humanitarian parole to obtain life-saving healthcare they had earned. Fernando served in the US Army from 1975 to 1978, after enlisting at the age of 20 years old.
