Leaving A Legacy: Honoring Jay Crenshaw's Life

Donation protected
As many of you may know, our beloved Dad, Jay Crenshaw is in the final stages of his ongoing struggle with multiple health issues including lung cancer, covid, lung infection, and the long-term effects of radiation. Jay has been a wonderful Father, Husband, Brother, and Friend who has touched the lives of so many. He will be leaving behind his wife Marsha Crenshaw, his children Carolyn, Aaron, Jason and Joseph and their spouses, 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; along with his brothers and his sister.

Jay has dedicated his entire life to sharing Christ with everyone that he met. Our Dad’s legacy will be the lives that were changed as a result of his continued faithfulness to share the good news of the hope that is found in Christ alone. His life impacted all those he encountered, and led to the salvation of his kids and their kids, including many other hearts that were touched over the last 35 years of ministry work; which will lead to a generational impact. The effects of his efforts will continue well beyond his life, through the lives that he touched. When asked about the amount of impact he’s had, one of the recent statements he made was, “It’s not about me, it’s all about Jesus”.

We are so thankful that God has given them such a close community. As you may know, life may become difficult in the near future for our mom. Our desire is to bless her in every way that we are able and allow others to do the same. We know that many of you have asked for ways that you can serve our family during this time. We would like to extend an opportunity to you to help alleviate some of the financial burdens that Mom will be faced with as a result of losing her husband of 45 years. We are not asking for a specific amount, which is why the goal is set to $1.

Our dad will be greatly missed, but we are both certain and grateful that he will soon be hearing the words “Well done my good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your master.”

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away”.

Rev 21:3-4
