Bike ride across Iowa for Ledford Downs Roads

Hi, I'm Stephanie, co-founder of my neighborhood's Road Maintenance Association. Our neighborhood was established about 25 years ago with private roads (meaning they aren't maintained by our state) and no HOA to oversee the maintenance of them. In 2020-21, my neighbor and I worked together to establish a voluntary road maintenance association. While our neighbors have contributed thousands of dollars and we have gotten some of the worst areas repaved, we are a small neighborhood, many are unable to donate, and there are more sections of our roads in dire condition.

I am planning to ride my bicycle across the state of Iowa during the last week of July. I will ride approximately 500 miles over 7 days.
