It's Time!

Forty-plus years ago the Ledford community came together to construct a facility to support extra-curricular activities for student/athletes of all ages. The goal in mind was to enrich their educational experiences. This stadium has provided exceptional experiences; however, the sands of time have aged it and renovations are now necessary.

NEEDS:

1) The multi-level Randy Hege Press Box has been restricted for limited use due to building code changes for the past three (3) years. Typically, the top levels provide filming opportunities, media coverage and public address areas for Band performances, Football, Special Olympics, Soccer and Track events. Renovations to the press box will allow these opportunities to be restored completely.

2) Bleacher upgrades are overdue, especially for our visiting community members. Pressure washing and painting was completed last summer, but additional work remains.

3) Options for a new scoreboard have been presented that are very exciting (see attached pictures). Replacing our aged scoreboard will allow for digital capabilities that include Stadium Pro Sound, Electronic Captions and Video Displays. The technological benefits will yield branding and marketing revenues for years to come!
