Lee Ackerman Final Expenses

Hi, my name is Beth Bukowski and I am asking for help in assisting Lee Ackerman’s family with the cost of his final expenses.

Lee was diagnosed with a rare cancer called pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP) about 7 years ago. Since then, he has endured multiple major surgeries, repeated life-threatening complications, and countless hospital stays and doctor appointments as a result. Its presence in his body did not keep him from maintaining an exciting and active life. Lee passionately loved hiking and camping, music, reading, board and video games, and building/repairing just anything he could.

He lived in Portland, OR with his wonderful fiancé, Caroline, and their dog and cat, Bear and Aries.

Sadly, on August 22, 2021 Lee lost his years long battle with cancer. His mother, Maureen, and his sister, Jenny traveled to Portland, OR and alongside Caroline, were his primary caregivers in the weeks leading up to his death. Funds raised will be used to assist Maureen and Jenny with Lee’s final expenses, including his many medical bills, funeral and service arrangements, and any unforeseen expenses.
