I know you all will agree Lee is one of the most caring, sweetest, thoughtful person you all know. Our prayers and love go out to Lee & Jonna at this trying time. They also need more than just our prayers, they need all we can do for them. It is my hope that anyone reading this will donate, as they have many extra expenses at this time, both medical and personal. Last Friday, Dec 21st, we were told Lee has cancer. He has a large 8cm by 14cm mass in his abdomen and the cancer has spread to his liver. We finally found out yesterday, Dec 28th, what kind of cancer it is. Lee has Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT). It’s believed to be a very rare and aggressive form of Sarcoma. There are only 20 documented cases of it in the US per year. Because of its rarity there is no standard mode of therapy and the prognosis for this particular cancer is grim. That is why we need your prayers now more than ever. We are currently trying to get him an appointment at MD Anderson which is one of the best cancer centers in the world for Sarcomas and DSRCT.
This is a very emotional and scary time for our family. This is something we shouldn’t of been dealing with till much later in our lives. But I thoroughly believe God will carry us through this. So please, don’t stop praying for my husband. It’s going to take every ounce of Lee’s strength, every ounce of wisdom the doctors have and a miracle from God to heal Lee wholly and completely. But with Faith ALL things are possible. The amount of love and support we have received so far has been overwhelming. Thank you all. But most of all thanks and praise to God for healing and deliverance.
