Lee Anne's Breast Cancer Treatment Fundraiser

A group of designers joined in the effort to help our friend and fellow designer Lee Anne. Lee Anne is the owner of Donkey Creek Design and she specializes in Sublimation designs and SVG files for crafters. Lee Anne has just been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

Last year was extremely hard for her family, Lee Anne suffered a fall which resulted in a seriously broken ankle that required surgery and pins put in place, and an additional extremely sprained ankle. She was not able to weight bear or walk for 5 months. During this time, her husband Tim had to stay home from work to help her. She is not completely back to her full mobility but Tim was only recently able to start going back to work. The bills from these treatments and lack of work were large.

Feb 2023, Lee Anne got the shocking diagnosis of Breast Cancer. She will need to undergo surgery, radiation and possibly chemotherapy. She will need to be put on a hormone blocker drug for the next many years. Lee Anne will need the support of her husband Tim during this time. Being self-employed, her business will be on the back burner, and Tim will need to work reduced hours to support her. The financial burden of cancer treatments is extremely stressful.

Lee Anne has been a long-time member of the designer community, always willing to help other designers. She is an active member in helping the fight against intellectual property theft. She is a friend to many designers, even though we have only met virtually. We all support each other in day-to-day life, so now it is time to step up and help someone we care about.
