Lee County Strikers youth soccer

We are raising money to restore Greater Ft Myers Soccer Club, and any donation will help.

After Hurricane Ian hit in September 2022, Lee County was devastated and many of us are still working to pick up the pieces and try to return to what life was like before the storm.

Greater Ft Myers Soccer Club, the Lee County Strikers, (the most historic club in the area), suffered damage to our soccer fields at the Kelly Road Soccer Complex. Hurricane Ian damaged both the lights and the watering system rendering our fields unusable.

This challenge has disrupted and restricted over 350 kids from accessing their passion, which is soccer. Without lights and with other field restrictions we’ve encountered, Kelly Road Soccer Complex continues to be inaccessible to this day. After reaching out to many locations in our area with fields for assistance, our only viable solution so far has been to rent an outside facility that would require over $7,000 to regain the ability to train and finish out the season with a sense of normalcy for our youth.

We are asking our community to help support the Lee County Strikers soccer club in it’s effort to continue to be there and support our youth by providing a field where we can train, teach, learn and play the beautiful game of soccer.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause to help support our local soccer community that means so much to our youth, coaches and families.
