LCYA Lightning, 13u Football
Donation protected
Lee County Youth Athletics - Lee County Lightning is a newly formed 501 c3 athletic organization in Sanford, North Carolina. We are one group that has merged from two well-known football and cheer organizations in Lee County formerly known as the Sanford Sting and the Lee County Panthers. In our first official year as the Lightning, our 13u football team has made it to the state AAU playoffs and has also received an invitation to the national competition in Florida. We are very proud of our team and are excited to travel to Florida for this once in a lifetime opportunity!!
Youth athletics provide an opportunity for our kids to stay involved and out of trouble. Throughout the Covid Pandemic, we have seen a decline in the physical and mental health of our youth. Our boys have been blessed to participate in football which has given them an opportunity to stay connected to their peers and has helped keep their physical, mental, and social emotional health in good standing.
Participating in state and national competitions are opportunities of a lifetime. Our players and families will look back on this time and remember not only the games and competition but the memories and relationships that were made throughout the season. We are asking that you help make this opportunity a reality for our team. We are asking you to consider donating to assist our team with travel expenses. Would you be willing to donate to our organization so we can take these boys to Florida and bring back a National Championship win to Lee County?
Nationals are coming up quickly and will take place December 6th -11th, 2021 in Davenport Florida.
Our federal tax ID # is 56-1939829. Checks can also be mailed to PO Box 3232, Sanford NC 27331. Thank you for your consideration. Visit our website for more information on our organization ---> Lee County Youth Athletics
