Lee Kerslake's Final Wish

From Riches to Rags!
After seeing Ted Heath's big band at the tender age of 11, Lee Kerslake vowed to be a drummer. He worked so hard to fulfil his life's ambition, that he practised every day at home on his ringo starr drum kit, while his friends were out partying and having fun.
Then one-day, his dream finally came true after being spotted by a talent scout, and for may years after he played with 70's Rock band Uriah Heep and for Ozzy Osbourne's diary of a madman. But little did he know that his entire world was soon to fall apart.
His manager at that time, informed him that he couldn't pay Lee for a year. Being the loyal and trusting man that he was, he stuck by his manager and continued to work with no pay, hopeful that things would pick up. Then the second blow came, Lee worked on some music for some very wealthy people, who also felt that they didn't have to pay him. Lee gracefully turned the other cheek, he still had his drumming, or so he thought!
Tired and stressed from all of the trouble, he found playing the drums very difficult, he was starting to forget things and tire easily, he felt as though he was letting everyone down and sadly left his band and his beloved music behind. It was then that Lee was diagnosed with Cancer and his childhood dream was becoming a distant memory.
Refusing to give up, Lee turned to his love for music as a therapy and whilst he could no longer drum, he still had a voice. With nothing more than his state pension to live on, he saved up enough money to go into a small studio in South London and over two years he recorded his first solo album at the age of 72.
Shortly after, Lee was admitted to hospital and was given the devastating news that the Cancer had spread and that he has less than a year to live.
For someone who has given so much in the way of music, loyalty and dedication, its time to give something back in his last few months of his life.
Please help us complete Lee's life story and release his solo album 'Eleventeen' and get him into the charts at the tender age of 72 , so that he can leave a legacy that will will live on in his memory.
You can help by sharing or donating whatever you can, the funds will go towards transporting lee and his wheelchair to venues, complete the life story on film, release his album and provide a mini premier, so that he can see all of his efforts come to fruition.
