The 1867 Group - Protest fund

Last Friday’s protest demonstrated the widespread discontent amongst the fanbase, toward the club ownership of Dejphon Chansiri.

We’d suggest the fact that the views of the supporters hasn’t even been acknowledged by the club, demonstrates further, that the relationship between supporter and chairman, is broken.

As a result we feel we have little option other than to plan further protests, beginning with our home fixture against Leeds United, live on Sky TV.

Our previous protests have been fan funded via GoFundMe, with donations being made to the Royal British Legion and the S6 foodbank. It is our plan moving forward to donate 5% of all funds to Weston Park Cancer Charity.

We will need ongoing financial support from likeminded fans in order to make our voices heard with ongoing protest movement. Support which is so greatfuly received.

We have ideas planned and welcome further ideas from Wednesdayites. This is a collective effort to make our stance perfectly clear, Dejphon Chansiri must sell the club.
