Lee-Jae's surgery

Lee-Jae is my 18 year old cousin who lives in Jamaica, West Indies. Lee- Jae was diagnosed with a rare disorder, Chiari malformation, that requires surgery. Chiari malformation is a condition in which brain tissue extends into the spinal canal. It occurs when part of the skull is abnormally small or misshapen. The disorder can potentially cause severe, life-threatening complications and requires surgical intervention before her condition worsens. The surgery costs 4.1 million JMD which is equivalent to about 28, 000 USD. 

We are completely aware that 2020 has been such a tumultuous year for so many, and we understand if you are unable to support financially.
