Left to die - We called him Rey

This old boy, we recon he is at least 10 years old, was left at the Red Cross in Mojácar to die. Probably because the owners couldn't afford the necessary veterinary care or maybe they just didn't care. This is no way to treat a family member. The Policía Municipal was called, they came, looked through the window of their vehicle and drove off.

We see animal cruelty too often. Will it ever stop?

Rey was taken to our local vet and survived the night, but he is very weak and we are not sure if he will make it.
