Lefu'a Vito Ohana House Fire Loss and Repair
Donation protected
My family, the Lefu'a family, suffered a house fire on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, that damaged three rooms on the second floor and water damages to both the first and second floor. My family and I have lived in our house for 31 years and due to the damages, we are not able to live in our home. The process of going through insurance, paperwork, and costs to repair the house will take 6 months to a year to complete, we are currently seeking a temporary place to live.
My family and I are vital members of the Nanakuli-Wai'anae Community, who are involved in both Sacred Heart and St Rita Catholic Churches. My father, Jerome Lefu'a Vito, proudly serves as a Deacon for 20 years alongside his wife and daughters who are active members serving at both churches as choir members, religious educators, as well as other ministries. My mother, Ietita, my sister Rosa, and I, have been working as educators at Nanakuli High and Intermediate School. We have lived, served, and strived for the betterment of our community for 31 years.
My family and I, have been devastated and saddened by the sudden loss of our house and our belongings. We ask for prayers and any monetary donations will be greatly appreciated. Any amount will help.
