Legal Aid for Binyon Family

Hi, I’m Sarah Wiseman and I’m raising money for my dear friend and co-worker, Kristin Binyon to fight for custody of her four foster children.

Kristin said “Yes!” to loving four young siblings in 2018 and has been their mom ever since.

The State placed the children in the care of a private foster agency, and the number of times they have tried to return the children to a dangerous situation and the length the case has lasted are well beyond the prescribed guidelines. Instead of granting permanent managing conservatorship to Kristin as the agency suggested, they reversed course and are trying a fifth reunification, despite a pattern of trauma, abuse, and neglect.

Kristin, on the other hand, has provided these kids a stable home life filled with joy and love. She fights for them to get everything they need to be successful. It is always fun to see them at Liberty for family events. They are truly her children.

It is high time that we help Kristin hire legal representation to fight for these kids against a system that has failed them four times already. All funds will go to fight to protect this family from separation and trauma.
