Legal Expenses for Seth and Emily Bular
Donation protected
My son-in-law Seth works a full time job and does Independent handyman work in the evenings and weekends so Emily can stay home with the boys. In September 2023, Seth was sent a check from a company in Midland, Texas for a construction project in Kentucky. Their bank said it appeared valid, but the check was a scam. Seth lost hundreds of dollars in hiring a subcontractor to begin foundation work.
Law enforcement from Midland, Texas accused Seth of fraud. He was arrested in a warrant from Texas on December 30, during a traffic stop here in Kentucky. He was extradited to Texas and spent a month in jail before being released on bail. Seth is now a victim twice.
A law team in Texas agreed to represent Seth. The minimum charge is $10,000 and can increase based on the hours used. The lawyer and the D.A. met with Seth and agreed that the case looked groundless. However Seth and Emily are required to make more trips back for court dates. The fund is to cover legal expenses and increasing travel costs.
All raised funds are sent directly to Seth and Emily.
