Legal Fees for Avah, My Daughter

Hello. Thanks for stopping by. My name is Anthony McQueen and on December 30th of 2022, I became a father. It has been one of the better parts of my life, the very best part. Fatherhood has been great however the relationship with the person I had the child with was never on solid grounds foundation wise. I will not go into gritty detail, all I should say is that Avah's mother has taken un fair action against me and it's cause me to be barred from seeing my daughter. I have tried to handle the issue of being a father to Avah, but her mother does not seem to want to cooperate with in reasonable means, so I am forced to try to excises my right to parent my daughter via the court systems and the first step towards doing that (Petition for Legitimation, Motion for Custody, Establishment of Child Support) will have a starting cost of $2,100.

I work an overnight warehouse shift, and with the usual amount of bills and expenses, trying to find $2,100 in the budget is pretty impossible. I will continue to look into any other options to find the funds to cover this emergency situation, but just in case nothing comes up with out having to take out a loan or credit situation, I wanted to have this gofundme started. The sooner I can get this process started the sooner I can have a regular, steady and uninterrupted position within my child's life. I haven't had any quality time with my baby since Fathers Day.
