Organic Farmers Fighting Pollution Fund
Donation protected
Hi, let us introduce ourselves.
Ian & Jodi James.
This is our story.
We are Certified Organic grain growers in Western Australia who haven’t been paid for our grain harvest because of chemical pollution of our grains.
Our Organic grain deliveries to a bulk handler in Western Australia were rejected following detection of pollution by the chemical, roundup that we do not use.
Our clean, green, pollution free farm passed the Annual Organic Audit only two days before delivery, allowing our organically grown grain to be sold as Certified Organic.
We need payment for our grain to remain viable Organic Food producers.
The issue is, we havent used any chemicals and all our grain still on farm for sale has returned negative detection results from testing.
We now have further evidence that the grain facility received polluted grain prior to our deliveries.
The Organic Certifying Body stripped our farm and grain of Organic staus without fully investigating and we believe, swept the contamination issue at the bulk handling facility under the carpet.
This legal stouche to prove our innocence will cost us over $200,000, not to mention all the the countless hours writing letters to appeal our Organic Suspension and retain our Certificate .
Against the odds, we have managed to keep our Organic Certificate, as it was proved we were not the chemical polluters.
We are now in a legal loophole to force the other side to pay us and prove our innocence.
All we want to do is grow organic grain, live on a farm that is chemical free and save our reputation.
We need your help to fund us as no Government Department in Australia is doing anything about the chemical polluters.
It’s up to us to fight this on our own.
The end result must be, the polluter pays.
Only this will stop them.
We will keep fighting for Organic Farmers to produce pollution free foods for you, but of course that will need more investment from you.
We can’t do it on our own.
Let’s try and make our goal as soon as possible so we can keep this case going.
Any donated funds to our cause will go into a charitable fighting fund also available for the next organic farmer who has this problem.
With no end in sight, we have run out of money.
We need your help to fight this.
Thank you for joining us.
