Legal fund for Eldur

Hi,

My name is Eldur Smári Kristinsson and I am 45 year old gender critical gay rights activist from Iceland.

I ran for parliamentary election last month to put the dangers of gender ideology, and the harm it poses to children and vulnerable adults, on the agenda.

Towards the end of the election campaign the State Broadcaster, RÚV, made libellous and defamatory statements about me in the programme ,, Forystusætið" which was aired on 26th November, three days before polls were opened.

The following day, I was contacted by the Police and informed that The National Queer Association of Iceland had reported me to the Police and that Lögreglan á Suðurnesjum (Suðurnes Police Department) has opened an investigation about few social media posts, one being where I am criticising the practise of MEN taking Domperidone in order to induce lactation and "breastfeed" infants.

Another is where I criticise a bill before the Icelandic Parliament, Alþingi, which is passed would remove the words "mother" and "father" out of legislation.

I want to sue the broadcaster and the chairwoman for the National Queer Association for their libellous and defamatory statements about me, but I am also likely having to defend myself in criminal court proceedings.

This is why I am hoping that you will fight this insanity with be and by backing me.
