Legal Help for Barbara's Custody Battle

I need help with my legal fees for my divorce. The short story is Erik and I separated, and I had to file a protective order against him. He has received child abuse and domestic violence charges. We are now divorcing. I have spent over $30k in legal fees and have exhausted my resources. The process continues to drag on, and we are now scheduled for a full day in court for a judge to decide how to split our assets. I’m hoping to keep the house to keep the kids stable and in their school. I’m also trying to get full custody for the safety of the kids.

People ask, “How can I help?” or “What do you need?” Right now, it’s money. I need to pay my lawyer and other fees associated with this process.
