Help me protect my family from a predator

Hi, my name is Sherry and in May of 2022 I discovered my husband is a child predator. I reported him immediately and the Marine Corps placed him in the brig to await trial. It was discovered he had over 2000+ images and videos depicting young children. The prosecution would go on to say it was some of the “most obscene child pornography”. Despite this he was only sentenced to 1.5yrs in the brig and will after face a dishonorable discharge. In his closing statement he made it clear that he was going to try and fight for custody rights for our children on the grounds that he “can be rehabilitated”.

This man was abusive and terrorized us for years. My children are disabled and unable to tell me if he harms them. It is my firm belief that it would be extremely detrimental to my children for this man to gain any custody whatsoever.

This money will be used to help hire and retain a family lawyer who can help me ensure my kids and I are safe from this man forever.
