Legal Support for a Trans Kid & Their Family

We are fundraising to support a trans kid and their family as they go through a custody case to ensure their rights are respected. They are nearing the end of the battle, but are looking at some significant costs for court time and assessments that will keep the child from needing to testify.

This is a volatile time for trans rights, and any case that cements those rights in law makes a difference.

We estimate about $3,000 for court fees, and are including $2,000 to support the family in accessing therapy and affirming care through this difficult period.
