Legend Development, founded by Bill Parker, has been building homes for over three decades all over the Eastern United States. They have paved the roads and sculpted the communities that their homes sit in. Throughout those years of learning how to build homes utilizing more and more efficiencies, they have redefined their mission of building homes for customers.
Their new mission is all about energy options.
Over the past few years, Legend Development has been working with inventors of renewable energy technologies and has worked with a number of individuals who are now engineers at GE. They have seen how emerging technologies can be implemented in communities around the world today.
The documentary film covers the story of Parker's Genesis Home Energy Project. The film will capture Legend Development's process of building communities that utilize new sources of power that are convenient for the average homeowner.
This documentary is a profile piece on Bill Parker as an entrepreneur, of Legend Development as a business, and its main focus is to document and broadcast the conversations with experts in the industry of energy production -- both renewable and non-renewable. We aim to paint a portrait of where this technology is going, and how it is shifting, and who is on the ground level making strides towards change and opportunity.
The quality of the documentary is immensely important to the project, and we wish to raise enough capital to help pay our crew, to afford our camera equipment, and to pay for our transportation. Legend Development, in collaboration with Sound Flash Films, Be-Wind, and other architectural, engineering, and academic partners, look forward to making this project come to life.
We have opportunities to collaborate with experts on the forefront of developing the next generation of energy tech as they address the increasing demand for alternate energy in contrast to most areas in the U.S.
