No. 35 has been a cornerstone in the community for many years. The Legion Hall is in need of a new roof. The Legion Hall is made up of the Community Hall, Legion Lounge, and the Veteran's room. Initial cost estimates are approximately $154,076. The Legion was fortunate to receive partial funding in the amount of $76,938 in the form of a Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program. The grant is a matching grant and the community must match that amount. Fundraising will be done by community members, clubs and volunteers. To date, the Legion has successfully raised $18,000 with various events. The Legion is asking you to support this worthwhile project.
