Legs 4 Louis

Louis Henry is 10 years old and an ambassador for An Hour For Others. Louis has cerebral palsy, a rare undiagnosed neurological disorder and epilepsy and just over 2 years ago he lost the use of his legs after numerous operations in an attempt to help him walk. Each day is becoming harder and harder for his beautiful family and brave Louis.

After all the help and support from AHFO it is now time for Louis to give back and continue to inspire others to make a difference. Louis and I want to be able to raise money to allow AHFO to continue the amazing work that they do in the local community and beyond. AHFO has and will continue to create special memories for Louis and provide emotional support for Louis’ parents Natalie and Jason as a result of the close bond they have with Gill and Kev.

On March 15th 2020 Louis will be taking part in his first ever BTR Liverpool half marathon with his auntie Louise. Louise will be pushing him in a specialised buggy that was kindly donated by the amazing Gary from Ben’s buggy runs, a charity set up for his Gary’s son, Ben.

It has been Louise’s goal not only to smash through the half marathon but also to give Louis the opportunity to feel free and share the experience with every other runner at the event. At only a stone heavier than Louis, this is no mean feat for Louise but all the hard work will be worth it when Louis and Louise cross the finish line. They will also be joined by Louis' dad Jason.

If you would like to support Louis, Louise and AHFO on their journey to the half marathon then please make a donation to help Louis give back to this amazing charity.
