LeHew Family (In Honor of Greg LeHew)

Gregory Yun LeHew, went on to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of September 7th after a long hard fight with Covid-19. He leaves behind an amazing wife, Jen, and 4 spectacular young men, Micah, Joshua, Nathan and Joseph. Greg was just 50 years old. A Christian man of integrity, devoted to his family, and a friend to all.

 

Greg was one of those few people you meet in life that are a joy to be around. He was always upbeat. Always had a smile on his face. And ALWAYS lived for GOD. He would sit down with you and talk even when he didn’t have time. He would ask about your family, and REALLY want to know how they were doing. He cared for people. Something we don’t see very often these days.

 

Greg loved soccer. He gave a lot of his time volunteering as a Coach for the YMCA league. He treated each kid like they were his own. Regardless of skill, age, or attention span. He cared for them all.

 

Greg was my friend. My Best Friend. And sometimes we take friendship for granted. Today, I ask those who knew Greg and his wonderful family for help. Jen and the boys have a long road ahead of them and need our support. As of right now, I don’t know exactly what expenses they have waiting for them, but I do know that some are coming. Whether it is funeral expenses, medical expenses, or a broken-down car, unexpected expenses are coming. My goal is to give the LeHew family an Emergency Fund. One that gives Jen some peace of mind during this unexpected tragedy. One that lets her know how much Greg meant to all of us. Thanks.
