LEJOG for The Azaylia Foundation July 2022
On July 16th-26th I will embarking on a 1040 mile / 1670 km cycle from the bottom of England to the top of Scotland for The Azaylia Foundation to raise funds for all the incredible children fighting childhood cancer.
Although I always planned to do this as a personal challenge, it seemed a shame not to also raise funds for a charity, especially when I heard last year that only 3% of all funds raised for cancer research are allocated to childhood cancer research specifically. I wanted to help.
The Azaylia Foundation supports children fighting cancer by helping them access treatment not readily available from the NHS, while at the same time working with cancer research and medical institutions to advance early diagnosis and accelerate the availability of new treatments in the UK.
I’ll be riding LEJOG (Land’s End to John o’ Groats) ) with my dear friend Hollie and we will be riding this unsupported. That means we carry our own bags, repair are own punctures and make our own way across the UK!
Thanks for taking the time to read this and all your support will be truly appreciated.
I will be posting a GPS live tracking link closer to the time if you would like to follow our journey as well as posting our progress to my personal FB and my IG @haye_lo
Many thanks again <3
