LeKia Stewart

On Saturday, November 4th, 2023, my cousin, Kianesha Darby was murdered by her boyfriend. Her seven-year old daughter, Lekia, was able to escape to a neighbor’s, but not before witnessing this animal beat her mother unmercifully and hearing the shots from the neighbors home. LeKia’s entire world changed in an instant. Not only did LeKia lose her mother, she lost all of her belongings because her mother was killed in LeKia’s bedroom. It was destroyed when her mother fought for her life.

Her grandmother, who lost her daughter that fateful day as well, is now LeKia’s guardian. She is trying to provide a safe and comfortable place for her granddaughter. Any amount that you can contribute at this time will be greatly appreciated. The funds will be used to get LeKia new clothes, shoes, toiletries, toys, a bed, a television, etc.
