Lekinioch Flood Relief

This past weekend, on Jan. 20, 2024, our home island Lekinioch (an atoll in the Lower Mortlocks outside of Chuuk state, Micronesia) faced severe flooding as it was hit by high tides and large waves, causing extensive damages. Families are left with no food &water, & some with no homes.

We humbly ask for your help to reach our goal of raising $50K, where it will be used mainly for food & water & buoy up the people of Lekinioch to rebuild & restore our island, the loss of crops, homes, & belongings. 100% of contributions will be sent to the Municipal of Lekinioch. No donation is too late or too small, as the process of recovery and reconstruction for disaster victims is a prolonged and arduous journey.
