Lelann Thompson and kids

Leenlan Thompson is one brave mother! She saved her two children from a house fire on 12/21/20 in Foley, AL. She got them both out of a window and told them to  run. She couldn't get out of that window and had to run back through the fire to get out of the house.  Jaysin, her son, was sent to Galveston, TX to the Shriner's burn center. He has since been discharged and is healing amazingly. Melissa, aka Sissy, her daughter, had minimal burns to her hands and arms. She was treated at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center and discharged same day. She is doing great as well.

Leelan is currently still at the USA burn center in Mobile, AL in ICU. She has overcame so much, but at a price. It has not been an easy ride for her. In the past almost 2 months, she has had 2 strokes, flatlined numerous times, 2 amputation surgeries and multiple skin grafts. She was switched from a ventilator to a trach. The doctors put a button in the trach so she can talk now. For a while she was sedated to help her heal without being in pain. She is awake now and is able to talk and ask questions.

We as friends and family ask you to donate now to help her parents get their home handicap accessible and ready for her to come home. Also to help some of the things Leelan will need, such as, a wheelchair, ramps, lifts and other things to help her make the transition. Anything helps and is so very much appreciated!! you guys don't understand how much your donations have done so far to help her and the kids. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!!
