Lela's Battle with Cancer

Hi, my name is Marsela and I am fundraising for my sister Lela who was diagnosed with Stage III cancer in February, 2021.

 

10 months ago today, Lela received devastating news, she was told she has cancer. To make matters worse, she was told her cancer is an aggressive form of cancer. Since her diagnosis, Lela has gone through various treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, brachytherapy and is now currently on immunotherapy. Unfortunately, this monster is not easily defeated and we are now faced with more challenges.  After numerous attempts of various treatments at Weill Cornell Cancer Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering hospital, the cancer continued to spread in many places of her body (now at Stage IV).  We are now seeking an alternative treatment option at Envita Personalized Oncology Clinic located in Arizona. This cancer treatment institute costs $150,000. We are asking for your help. I know 150k is a massive target to reach but anything will help and we hope to have our sister here with us for many more years. Her kids need her, we need her, she has been through so much in life and it hurts to see her helpless and in pain. 

 

As a single mother, she is dying to live to watch her two beautiful kids, son, 14 and daughter, 12 years old, grow to attend college, get married, and have kids of their own.  Anything will help.
