Our kind and loving Len Roie unexpectedly passed on August 10. Len Roie was a loving husband, father and grandfather who touched the lives of those around him. He is preceded in death by a grandson, a daughter, and a son-in-law all within the last 5 years. He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years as well as his surviving children, grandchildren, brothers, cousins and friends.
Len Roie dedicated his life to his wife and family, to his church and to his country. He was very proud to have served in the National Guard as an expert rifleman and he was a deeply patriotic man. He loved the outdoors and could tell the best bear stories. Len gave great advice and though he often felt unwell, he would show up for anyone who needed help with building projects. Len never gave up on a project and would persist until it was finished. Len loved discussing and debating politics and religion and made friends wherever he went. He was curious and friendly and frequently made jokes even when he was in pain.
We are all devastated by Len Roie’s loss and we were not prepared for the high cost of a memorial service and burial. We want to give Len Roie the memorial he deserves, honor his memory and say our last goodbyes without worry.
My family and I humbly ask for donations to help cover the cost of Len’s memorial service and burial. We need to raise a minimum of 15,000 as soon as possible to be able to cover the costs of Len's burial service. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult and sorrowful time.
Thank you so much for your consideration
The Len Roie Woolley Family.
