Lena Michelle Jones, entered into eternal peace on 12-14-2024, at the age of 41. Born on October 14th,1983 in Chicago, Il, Lena was the eldest child to Ruth Michelle Thomas. Lena shared a close friendship with her mother.

Lena loved the Lord. Her favorite verse was Psalm 61:2. She was a very spiritual person. She loved God first and foremost. She drew from her background for her spiritual practice. She belonged to the Moon Shadow Coven. She was also an ordained Dudeist Minister and ordained Minister. She loved reading tarot and was also a practicing eclectic Christian witch.

In 2017, Lena met the love of her life, Billy Jones. They loved to go to concerts, travel and enjoyed their time together. She described Billy as her best friend, soul mate, twin flame and her amor.

Lena was a loving and devoted mother to all of her children. Being a mother was what she described as one of her greatest joys in life. It didn't matter if you were her biological or step child, she always wanted you to feel love and everything to be fair.

She enjoyed being barefoot to the point that her family joked she'd be cremated with shoes on. She hated shoes. She enjoyed painting nails and listening to music. She loved art. She was very talented. She was a photographer, a published author, and a tattoo artist in her spare time. Lena was also brave and a fighter. Lena was a cancer survivor.

She had a huge heart. She cherished the time she spent with her children, husband, mom, family and friends. She loved to give love, she was a true empath at heart. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Lena had an Associates Degree in legal studies from Kaplan University. She graduated with a 3.83 gpa and Magna Cum Laude. She received a Bachelor Degree in Psychology at Capella University. She was also a volunteer for Crisis Textline. She had several jobs over the years. She was currently working as a nurse.

Lena was preceded in death by Mae Reed(grandma), great grandparents John & Lena Powell, her uncle Darrell Day, her cousin Aaron, her best friend Sarah, and two children whom she knew she'd finally hold at the gates of Heaven, Dakota(Jared's twin) & Seraphina.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her children: Leslie Reed, Chelle Walter, Junior Walter, Nathan Thomas, River Thomas, Saphira Thomas, Jared Thomas; Alisia (Nathan) Overstreet, grandson Bryson of Iowa; Andrea Bennett(Zephrym) of Beardstown, Il; Kaihlic Jones of Alton, Il; Lacie Jones, Haiden Jones, Bella Jones, Gabriel Jones. Her granddaughter aka Simba, Alexis Walter. Whom she shared a special relationship with. Her mother, Ruth Thomas (Daniel) of Jacksonville, Il. Her other family and friends; Mattie Alfred, Ashley Becker, Tiffany Hale, Tammy Schwartz, Stephanie Rawson.
