Beirut needs YOUR HELP! The tragic explosion that occurred in Beirut on August 4th, 2020 has killed hundreds, injured thousands, and has left hundreds of thousands homeless. The blast occurred in the port of the capital Beirut, where 2755 tones on Ammonium Nitrate has exploded creating a massive blast, with damages up to 15 miles radius. Lebanon has already been struggling with an economic crisis for the past 6 months: the currency has dropped, people don't have access to their money in the banks, unemployment of hundreds of thousands… Help is necessary. YOUR help is necessary. We are aiming to raise money for the Lebanese Red Cross who are on the ground responding to humanitarian needs. On site, the Lebanese Red Cross are performing search and rescue in addition to treating people suffering from injuries. Triage and first aid stations have been set up across the Beirut port to treat injuries. We are in contact with the Lebanese Red Cross and they have expressed the necessity of donations in order to resupply with medical inventory, and prepare themselves for the future.
