Lend a Hand to Donna's Recovery Fund

Hey, this is Jennifer Harris-Wicks, and I’m trying to rally my peeps and others behind one of my best friends in the world. Donna Sanger and I have known each other for nearly 40 years. She’s one of the hardest workers I know, but for the past several months, she’s struggled physically and mentally, at home and at work. Come to find out, she has a racquetball-size tumor on her brain. Thankfully, it’s expected to be non-cancerous, but it still has to come out because it’s pressing on the brain, causing physical, mental, and personality difficulties.
Her neurosurgeon at KU Medical Center sounds confident that it can be successfully removed, though it’ll take several hours of surgery and several weeks of recovery.
She’s missed several weeks of work already, likely not being able to return until February. And obviously this type of surgery is very expensive. She’ll easily reach her out-of-pocket max of $7500. This is a daunting financial burden, in addition to trying to get through and recover from surgery. I know money’s tight for people around the holidays, but if you’d like to contribute something to help Donna, I know she would greatly appreciate your generosity.
