Hello, dear friends and supporters,

I am Mohammed Alrayes, and my relative Saleh is organizing this campaign on my behalf due to the geographical restrictions and limitations imposed by GoFundMe on our region. I, along with my family, am here in Gaza, with half of us in the south and the other half in the north after enduring 11 months of war. My family and I are facing unimaginable tragedy, bombardment, destruction, and suffering every day. Our once peaceful lives have been torn apart by conflict, and now we find ourselves in desperate need of your help as our situation becomes increasingly critical.

This year was supposed to be my graduation year from university. I was studying accounting and working with my father in his auditing office, but everything in our lives has turned for the worse, into something beyond imagination. Our home is now rubble, my father's office is rubble, and we ourselves have become rubble as well. We are now living in a tent, constantly exposed to danger with the sounds of bombing and the cries of despair surrounding us. My family, consisting of eight members—my parents, my five younger siblings, and I—are split, with some of us in the south and the others trapped in the north, struggling to survive in conditions no human should have to endure.

We have lived through the worst days of our lives, days that no human could ever imagine, for 11 months. Each day brings new challenges, dangers, and fears. After massacres occurred near us at the beginning of the conflict, we were displaced multiple times, seeking refuge in various areas within Gaza City. We then had to move to the central region (Nusirat) in the southern sector. Due to the ground invasion, we fled to Khan Younis, then to Rafah. Recently, we were forced to leave Rafah, and we are now displaced again in the central region (Al-Zawayda), while my father and some of my siblings remain trapped in the northern part of Gaza. Our lives have become consumed with the struggle to find basic necessities—food, electricity, water, gas, and medical care. You know how the prices here are skyrocketing compared to before the conflict, and in these circumstances, with no income or work to provide for these needs, it becomes nearly impossible to afford these essentials.

My dream now is for this conflict to end, for me to complete my education, and for my family and I to be safe. I am reaching out to you now to raise some funds to secure the resources we need to survive. The second goal is to escape the region, but I will increase the fundraising goal when the borders open. You know that the coordination fee for one person is $5,000 to leave Gaza for Egypt.

Here are some additional details about my family:

- My father and some of my siblings in the north have no access to food due to the severe famine there, and if food is available, its price is unimaginably high.

- We also cannot access electricity and water.

- We need to cover medical expenses due to chronic illnesses.

- We need to pay for internal evacuations.

- We also need to cover the costs of evacuating from Gaza.

In general, none of us can access basic necessities like food, water, and cleaning supplies.
