Lending Lulu Love & Support-Hurricane Ian Relief

Hi!

I am Kerry Q., and Laura is one of my near and dear Alaska Family. We have all seen the news footage from Florida in the aftermath of Ian... Laura ( Lulu ) was safe in Alaska when it hit, but her home took a direct hit.

I am putting together this fundraiser for our dear Lulu ( Laura ). We all know and love Lulu, and she is the first person to lend a hand when someone is in need... well, now she needs us.

Last winter, after many nomadic seasons, Lulu finally settled down and bought a property in Matlacha, FL. We all know where this is going...

This sweet artsy community she calls home was directly hit by Hurricane Ian. Like many others in the community, Lulu is without home insurance as it was not an option for these properties. She will bear the financial loss for her home and contents as she has likely lost everything if not to wind, and flood waters ( there were reports early in the storm of 3-4' of water throughout her home )

We have not been able to see photos of her property; we have heard it is still there but in terrible shape. It will be some time before Lulu can return to Matlacha as access to the island is now by boat only, and infrastructure is non-existent.

I am sure there will be resources and support in the coming weeks, but I am asking if you can please use this fund as a direct resource to aid Lulu in the long process ahead of her.

Let's bring some sunshine back to her life and this page to show Lulu some love and support, every little bit helps in times like this, and your love and support are greatly appreciated.
