Lenin Portillo Memorial

Hello everyone, not long ago we lost a very special person. His name was Lenin Portillo. He was a very special person, not only to me, but to many of those he met throughout his life.  I met Lenny back in high school, and we instantly became friends.  We grew a bond that lasted til his last day on Earth.  He was very nice to me during high school, he was the person that helped me with everything, he was like an older brother who took me under his wings and helped me develop during those difficult high school years.  He was there to help me with homework, study for test, help me meet new friends, and helped me with my transition to college, like I said he was a brother to me.  Where ever he was I most certainly was there.  High school would have never been the same without him, thank you Lenny.  Our lives kept growing together into college and after.  College was the same, Lenny never changed, he helped me with everything, we would have similar schedules so we could meet and do homework together and study.  We also did party a lot, oh the parties hahahaha, Lenin was always the life of the parties, he made everyone dance and have a good time.  Those were really good times, times I would never forget, thank you for all the memories my friend.  It wasn't always good times, we partied together and we cried together, we were there for each other when either of us needed a shoulder to lean on, 9 out of 10 times it was me jajajaja, but Lenny was always there.  As we all know, life is always changing, many of us "grow up" and start new life's, new jobs, family and kids.  We grew apart a bit, but we always would check up on each other, even if it was a simple call or text, saying hello, and asking how are things.  He was always there, no matter what. Lenin gave the best hugs, those who knew him know this is true, when he hugged someone he meant it, until we hug again my friend, RIP Lenin Portillo
