Lenin's family needs your support

On Monday July 3, 2023 we lost our good friend Lenin Polukonda when he tragically drowned. He was 23 years old and leaves behind his parents and 2 young brothers in India.

Lenin was one of the most kind hearted, and hard working people you could ever meet and he never passed on an opportunity to help anyone in any way he could. His positivity and kind nature made him friends with everyone he met. His loss is absolutely devistating to his family and his many friends.

Lenin came to Canada 2 years ago with the intention of completing his university studies, and then getting his permanent residence. He came so close to acheiving this as he had just graduated from Lakehead University and was in the process of being approved for his P.R.

While doing all of this Lenin was also doing everything he could to send money back home to help support his family. In doing this Lenin had to take out multiple loans as well as other debt to support his education in Canada.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to ensure his family is not burdened with these debts, as well as the the very high costs of getting him home to India during this very difficult time.
