Corneal Transplant for Lenix Rolle
Donation protected
My name is Lenix Patrick Rolle. I am a father of six (6) and a grandfather of four (4). I am a self-employed electrician by trade. In April 2014, I had surgery on my right eye, which turned out to be glaucoma. As a result of that, I lost vision in my right eye. Then on July 5th, 2022, a pebble flew into my left eye while working. Immediately, I went to the eye doctor to have it dealt with, and she prescribed some eye drops and sent me home.
After that, things took a turn for the worst. I revisited the eye doctor, and that’s when I was sent to accident and emergency immediately I was admitted to the hospital. Even though they treated my eyes, it was already severely damaged, which subsequently led me to now need a corneal transplant in my left eye for me to see again.
