Lenny's Legacy- Baby loss awareness & support
Donation protected
Roy and Mim sadly lost their two sons Lenny (at 40 weeks at birth) and Bhai (at 18 weeks gestation) this year. In their honour, they will be cycling the length of New Zealand (2500+ Km over 64 days) to raise awareness of baby loss whilst simultaneously raising funds to launch their new charity Lenny’s Legacy.
All donations will go directly towards the setting up and purposes of the charity. Initially, this will include the production of a film documenting the challenge to raise much-needed awareness of baby loss. Roy and Mim will be self-funding the trip (flights, ferries, accommodation and subsistence costs will be met by them). Additionally, the funds will facilitate the creation of training materials for professionals and resources for bereaved parents and their family and friends.
Roy and Mim have ambitious plans for the charity which will help, educate and bolster support networks of bereaved parents. This will ensure that bereaved parents are offered the best possible support and care when facing such tragic circumstances.
