Leo Douglas Coldiron ll went to be with the Lord Savior on December 16, 2020 unexpectedly from complications of the heart.

Leo was born in Dallas, TX on August 6, 1971. He grew up in Flower Mound, TX with his parents, Leo and Demetra Coldiron and sister, Dedra Douglas. He attended Marcus High School from 1985-1989 and received his BSE of Computer science at Dallas College Brookhaven in 2011. Leo first started playing the drums at the age of 11 and excelled in the musical world with the band, Crucial Fiction. His self-taught skills led him to play by ear and he was also extremely knowledgeable with anything having to do with music.

Leo stood 6 foot 9 and was a large man. He was quiet and observing. He was extremely intelligent and advanced in technology. He founded and operated his own business, Coldiron Solutions where he provided IT Consultation and Project management solutions for many Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, many 5-star hotels, DFW Airport and Love Field to name a few which served the Greater Midwest for 15 years. Recently he provided services for HHCSI-Hammerhead Communications, Netspan LLC, Advanced Data Networks LLC, Target, Lowes and many more.

Leo also worked with 1Twenty2 Ministries, Victorious Overcomers Ministry and was a Member of the Board of Administrators for the KLB Foundation. He played drums for charity events and provided technical services as a way to help religious organizations with social media platforms.

For the past 6 years he built a new life with his wife, Keri Coldiron. Together they rose above hardships and created a family. They have a 2-year-old daughter, London Demetra Coldiron. Leo was a very patient and loving father. He absolutely adored his baby girl and loved her more than anything.

Leo was a man of God and tried to live his life according to how he felt God needed him to be whether it was helping anyone he could, often giving to charities and providing his technical skills or just giving wise advice, he never expected anything in return and often said, “It’s the gig.” He believed in taking care of business because “We’re Coldirons.” His love was tremendous for his family and close friends.

Although his time was short here on earth, he touched many lives. He was always calm and direct to the point no matter the situation. When he was faced with adversities, he’d always “give it to God.” He was a hardworking man, going above and beyond for his family. Leo was loved by so many. His absence is felt by many of those who he touched along the way. He really was a gentle giant.

Leo is survived by his wife, Keri Coldiron, daughter, London Coldiron, step daughters, Juliana Savage and Kaylee Savage, parents, Leo and Demetra Coldiron, sister, Dedra Douglas and husband Robert Douglas, nephews Wyatt Ludwick and Josh Douglas, cousin Sue Coldiron, best friend since childhood, Chris Ort and many more cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilburn and Stella Coldiron and Lawson and Juanita Lewis.

Due to Covid a memorial is to be determined at a later date. Please send flowers to the address of Leo and Demetra Coldiron and a GoFundMe account has been set up for his wife and daughter.
