Leo Minors for Alder Hey Children's Charity
Hi
My name is Leo, I am 4 years old and from Wrexham. I was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. I have been looked after by Alder Hey Hospital and I think that they are great. They give me my chemotherapy along with all my other medication and keep me well fed too.
When I first arrived at Alder Hey my Mum and Dad stayed at Ronald Macdonald House because they needed a break from time to time.
I really miss being at home with my Mum, Dad and my sister Maisie (also Bubba the dog) but the staff are brilliant with me and make my life that bit easier at the moment.
My family and friends are doing "The Colour Run" at Aintree Racecourse on 20th July 2019. You'll see them in "Leo's Pride" T-shirts to raise money for Alder Hey Hospital and would be grateful if you could sponsor them.
In addition to this Rich and Lorna Briggs are going to abseil from the top of Liverpool Cathedral on 10th August at 14.20. Everyone is more than welcome to go along and cheer them on. All monies raised from both events will be donated to Alder Hey Hospital.
Thank You
