Leo & Will’s Crisis Challenge
Brothers Leo (11) and Will (8) have both, from a very young age, been upset and moved by the homeless they’ve encountered.
Any trip to a big city left them saddened by any homeless person they saw, and they always sprung into action - giving away any and all pocket money they had, shaking down their parents to give more money and - afterwards - reflecting on these difficult and sad situations, and worrying about the safety, comfort, health and hunger of those they met and looked to help.
Crisis UK does amazing work in tackling homelessness, and the current pandemic is unfortunately fuelling this tragedy for many.
Leo and Will want to do something to help, and have decided - in these lockdown times - to take on virtual challenges to raise money for Crisis.
Therefore, in the 75 days of the Spring school term (from 11 Jan to 26 Mar):
1. Will is going to climb Everest! That’s 58,000 vertical steps - averaging 77 flights of stairs a day!
2. Leo is going to cycle from Lands End to John o’Groats! That’s 874 miles - averaging over 11 and a half miles per day!
Any sponsorship support you are able to give - however small - to Will and Leo is much appreciated by them and Crisis, and will provide great motivation!
