ENG/SPA
On July 7, 2020, the Chavez family was met with the devastating news that the wonderful husband, father, son, and brother they knew unexpectedly passed away. Leo was an always cheerful, playful, loving person who brightened up any room he walked into. He loved to dance, sing, play soccer, and spend time with his family. He was a VERY hard-working man who always did the most in his power to provide for his family. Loved by many, he left a mark wherever he went and on whoever he met.
Born on April 29, 1969, he was a proud native of Angamacutiro, Michoacán, Mexico. There he lived a wonderful life surrounded by his four brothers, four sisters, and parents. By the time he was 17, he came to the United States to work as a farmworker. Being a migrant farm foreman, he was constantly traveling from Salinas, CA to Yuma, AZ (the past five years from Santa Maria, CA to Yuma, AZ). Leodegario was always helping others even if it meant that outcomes may not come in his favor. He loved and was passionate about his work.
Leodegario, unfortunately, leaves behind his beloved wife Mariaedith, two daughters Esmeralda and Jazmin, and his young son Dylan. The purpose of this fund is to support the family in their time of need for Leo was the main breadwinner. We appreciate any donations, the sharing of this link, or even sharing a memory of him in the comments below. Thank you, God bless you.
