Leonard Donoghue Fund

Leonard O Donoghue is a self employed mechanic from Kilnaboy, Co. Clare.

In June of this year he had a paragliding accident leaving him with serious injuries including multiple broken bones in both legs and feet as well as a complicated bad break in one arm. He now has a long road of recovery and rehabilitation ahead of him.  Leonard was a self employed mechanic (a one man operation).  His business is now closed, this leaves him with no source of income and will not have any in the near future due to the nature of his injuries.  He has had no state assistance during these months and is faced with mounting medical and rehabilitation bills.  Over the years he was always willing to support  parish  and community activities, the Local Youth Club, Local Water Scheme, Community Development, GAA.  Leonard  has been an active and important member of many charity events including North Clare Cystic Fibrosis Fundraising Cycle, Clare Cancer 250 Cycle among others.  Any contribution that you could make towards Leonards medical and rehabilitation costs would be massively appreciated.
