Leonia Veteran Banners - Eagle Scout Project

My name is Christian Choi and I am a resident of Leonia, New Jersey. I am a junior and attend Bergen Catholic High School. I have the honor of serving as the Senior Patrol Leader for Leonia's Scouts BSA Troop 71. I also proud to say that I am now an Eagle Scout.

My Eagle Scout project was to create memorial veteran banners to display throughout Leonia. We were successful in creating 57 banners in time for Memorial Day and we raised over $17,000 in contributions.

The mission continues, now for Veterans Day.

I am now happy to announce the second round of submissions for the Veteran Banners Program. My brother Justin Choi, who is also a Scout, will be assisting me.

The tentative timeline will be:

(a) Submission/Contributions start in July 15, 2024,

(b) deadline will be September 1, 2024,

(c) finalize proofs/order by September 15, 2024, and

(d) install additional banners by October 15, 2024 (Veterans day is November 11, 2024).
