Leon’s No Limping Fund
Donation protected
Most of you know Leon, the most adorable, smart, sweet and beautiful dog. He is pretty much a dream of a Bernese. Leon had his neutering and a gastropexy, which tacks his stomach to his internal abdominal wall. This causes him not to colic. He started limping about three days after surgery. After many vet trips and finally did an ex ray that showed basically he was born with no hip sockets. There is nothing holding his femurs in place. He does nothing but lay down and only gets up to potty. He eats laying down. We had to wait 5 weeks for the consultation and it’s just heartbreaking. So the wonderful surgeon Dr. Miller is squeezing Leon in for a hip replacement on May 10, 2022. He needs
both hips replaced and will do one at a time. I think we’re going to do one and see how it goes. A few friends suggested that I throw up a gofundme. I earn money, I don’t ask for it. The cost, well you can imagine the cost…If you feel inclined to donate, thank you so much. I know how much everyone loves Leon and to me, everyone loving him means so much to me.
